Here's what some of the students have to say about
A.I.P.M.T.K.A..
Name : ROOPA
AGE: 36
OCCUPATION:
Its been
less than a month since when I have enrolled for kickboxing
classes under Master Keshav and its definitely been a
wonderful experience. I work in a Multinational Bank and
aged 36 years. I suffer from acute sinusitis and migraine
too.
Given my
hectic work schedule and tension filled days I was really
looking out for some kind off a fitness regime which would
greatly help in de-stressing myself coupled with some fun
element. I’m also a regular gymming person, but there again
I used to feel the need to right kind of trainer to actually
guide you through the regimen and one who can sustain the
interest.
At the
kickboxing class, master starts off with basic breathing
exercises which I find extremely useful for addressing my
sinusitis problems. The warm up for close to 10-15 minutes
really is too good and you are actually charged up for rest
of the class. Classes are also well structured in the sense
beginners are given the required attention and master
actually pushes one to move beyond their respective
individual limits and that really I feel is very important
since it actually boosts one’s confidence. It really has
done that for me and I really hope and wish to see more
women enrolling for the same.

From
my childhood, I wanted to learn a technique that was
for self defense as well as for stamina and fitness.
It took some time for me to narrow down to
kickboxing and Master Keshav (luckily he had a
website). I was initially hesitant to join as I felt
it was too old to start now. But the first two
classes were enough to clear my inhibitions. Now I
look forward to the two days in the week I can go
for the classes. The number of students in each
class is restricted, so that each person is given
individual attention based on their objective and
comfort level. The best part is that it is in the
weekends. And guess what I have already recommended
two people to join kickboxing classes. |

I am a Software Sales
professional with a very stressful schedule that involves a
lot of travelling and working late. I have been looking for
something other than a Gym to keep myself fit, de-stress and
more importantly something that is interesting. I have
watched a lot of Kick Boxing on TV, and for the past year I
have been wanting to learn this sport. Unfortunately there
arent many coaching classes since this is not so popular.
Finally, I found Coach Keshav's class. I was a bit reluctant
to join in the beginning, since I wasnt sure of what I was
getting into. But now, after a few classes, I think this is
an amazing sport. Our coach is awesome, he knows a lot about
Muay Thai Boxing and we all sweat it out twice a week. He is
very professional in his approach and tries to co-relate
every technique with street fight. These 2 days of Muay Thai
Boxing are my most favorite days of the week and I really
look forward to some intense training during these
sessions.Highly recommend this to all those who want to
defend themselves, channelize their energies and de-stress
in the most interesting way.

I am
actually living and studying in Dubai and came to Chennai
for a holiday. I was very interested in learning some form
of martial arts that was good for self defense (on and of
the ring) as well as for fitness. Previously in Dubai I used
to go fo r
karate classes and went up to the yellow belt but I was not
happy with what I learnt because all I would do is learn
kathas do some exercises and the class would be over. I
would see a boy in brown or black belt being fat and slow
and getting tired every few minutes. They would teach us
kathas with out teaching us the proper application of the
kicks and punches and the technique involved. And even if we
did learn the application it would be only useful for
tournaments. So when I came to Chennai I learned about the
Thai boxing classes taken by Master J.Kesav and I took an
appointment to meet him. He told us about how useful Thai
boxing is in terms of practical application and fitness. I
found that Thai boxing filled in all the negatives of karate
and was practical and useful to learn. I was most interested
when I found out that I did not need to learn and practice
for years together to learn it but could be learnt in two
months and from then on all you needed to do was practice
what you have learnt. Thai boxing also omits all the
unnecessary kicks and punches we learn in other martial arts
but still contains a variety of kicks and punches involving
all the parts of the body such as knee, foot, elbow, fists
which are very effective in defending and attacking anywhere
and at anytime.
So what I
would like to say is that thai boxing is a very and
effective martial art that is very useful and an art anyone
one can learn and under the expert guidance of Master Keshav
I have really enjoyed learning thai boxing and have found it
much more effective and easier to learn than other martial
art.

Hi my name is R.Ganesh.I'm doing my second year in
Engineering.I joined All India Pro Muay Thai & Kickboxing Association [A.I.P.M.T.K.A]
about four months back.It has been a great experience right from day one.The
tempo
of
the class only goes on increasing with the hunger to perform-Master Keshav
has taken care of that. Here in A.I.P.M.T.K.A we get to learn at a pace of
our own with constant encouragement from the other students as well as from
Master Keshav. The atmosphere in the class is electrifing.Though most of us
are from a wide range of age groups i've never felt any difference being one
of the youngest. We are all just like a bunch of collage mates.Right from day
one, even before we had even got to introduce ourselves to each other it has
been like this.No one ever gets the feeling he/she is new to the class.I
feel this is one of the greatest strenghts of the Academy.
A.I.P.M.T.K.A has helped us realise the true meaning of kick boxing. Its not
just a matter of swinging ur arms and legs--trust me.Through Master Keshav's
sound syllabus we are learing an art in the true sense. The best part is we
get to stay immensely fit withhout having to miss our favourite dishes.
To sum it all up A.I.P.M.T.K.A gives us a knockout experience by opening a
new dimension into boxing. This is one fight you'll want to take to the very
end.[;)]

Hi I am
Shankar Ram, I am working as a Team Leader with Ebay Inc for the past 3
years in US and India. I had a disc slip in mid 2008 due to an accident. So,
I started doing physiotherapy - Cardio and weight training. As per every
body's advice I started reducing my Abs from a whooping 42 inches to 32
inches, but the key to my recovery was when I started strengthening the core
muscles. I had been getting trained from Keshav for almost 2 months now and
see a lot of change in my approach to back pain.So after almost a year I
started riding bike to office without any tingling pain.

I am a business man and actually have very less time for fitness. When i
heard from my friend about the kickboxing class, i was under a
impression that kick boxing is just another martial art. But after my
few classes i realised that there is lot of fitness involved in these
classes. And yes of course self defense is the core of this art. I am
happy that i am doing something useful for my self now other than my
routine.

Born and bred in India with around 5 years previous
martial arts experience, I moved to Chennai and went on the hunt for a
knowledgeable instructor and well equipped Martial arts training.
After trying a dozen or so club and feeling disappointed with the lack of expertise and practical training methods, I found the
A.I.P.M.T.K.A and Master J.Keshav.
I was immediately impressed with Master J.Keshav’s knowledge of the martial arts, openness and down-to-earth approach.
Two years on and I still train at A.I.P.M.T.K.A and enjoy the varied training, friendly atmosphere and exceptional improvement in my fitness, health and martial arts ability.
I would definitely recommend A.I.P.M.T.K.A to anyone interested in martial arts, self defence or fitness training.
